Many of our families love to upgrade their Kamper Connect Experience for unlimited Bunk Notes and share it with friends and family who aren't in their My Kanakuk. There are two options to share the experience with families. 

OPTION 1


This option allows friends and family members to send digital messages to the Kamper each and every day without all having to set up their own accounts and pay for their own Bunk Notes. This option won't give photo access.


Make sure to have an unlimited Kamper Connect Package!

First, you will want to make sure you have upgraded your Kamper Connect package to the Plus or Max package so that you have unlimited Bunk Notes. You can easily do this by selecting your Kamper in The Kanakuk App or My Kanakuk, and then clicking the Kamper Connect Package on the main screen. Select the Package you want, and be sure to click "Save" to move to the payment screen to finalize your package upgrade. Please Note: If you have multiple Kampers, you will only need to upgrade and pay for one Kamper to get all the upgraded features for each of your Kampers!


Upgrading your Package can take up to 15 minutes to update on your My Kanakuk portal, or in The Kanakuk App. After 15 minutes, you may need to close and reopen the page or app to show the update if you are still not seeing it.


Add-on Bunk Notes Express.

Next, you can add Bunk Notes Express to each of your Kampers to receive a unique email address for each Kamper that you and anybody you share the addresses with can email notes to each day. Friends and family don't even need to create an account in Bunk1 to send messages this way! The main office will receive these notes and print them each day to deliver at lunch. Please Note: Typically you want to have your notes in by 9am CST to ensure they get delivered at lunch that day.

OPTION 2


This option is a way to invite friends and family to create their own guest account with Bunk1 (our photo and messaging provider) and select their package to get photo access as well.


Invite a Guest from the app

In the Kanakuk app, simply open the menu bar by clicking the three-line icon on the top left of the app. Select "Invite Family Member" from the bottom of the menu and complete the requested information at the bottom of the page that opens.

You can also access this page in a web browser by clicking here. If you are prompted to log in, use your My Kanakuk account.


This option will give the invited account access to view photos and send messages to any of your Kampers, but will not provide them with access to use your Bunk Note Credits. Guests will retain access to photos and messaging in future years as well, eliminating the need to be reinvited each year. If you need to remove a guest from your account or have any issues or questions about guest accounts, please email support@bunk1.com for direct support regarding guest accounts.
